You may not hear the news first on the box, but TV is about to get leapfrogged. Digital ad spend will overtake TV for the first time in 2017 according to eMarketer’s quarterly ad spending forecast.

This represents a huge turning point in the ad landscape, where it’s predicted total digital ad spending in 2017 will equal $77.37 billion, or 38.4% of total ad spending.
